My experience with 3d printing is pretty limited and other than printing out crap that I just toss in the trash. I found these and thought I would give them a try.

https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:389729

Installed them. And they work as described. I am not sure what the sun/heat will do to them. And time will tell if they actually last over time.

Since I was using works resources and time the total cost makes them totally worth it.

Here they are Image

Anyone else try to 3d print anything?

Really? I didn't know that. I have a couple things I want to make. I have been lazy about finding a place to print them.

Yeah -- heat is the part that I'm curious about too. If they hold up, this could introduce some interesting new possibilities for Jeep projects.

That said, I'm ok for tied-downs as I have the tuffy enclosure. But I'm sure there are other applications I could devise.

I have printed out another set and if any other club member is interested in giving them a try let me know? At some point we will make it to a Monday meeting and I could hand them off then or arrange something at one of the clubs next events.
